Sam Eason is one of them beardy singer-songwriter blokes. Yes, yes, one of a million. But that makes him one IN a million too, right? That's what his Mum always tells him anyway so let's give him that.
Sam was proudly born and bred in the town of Bristol, in the south west of the UK and they've never really gotten rid of him since. He’s also been around for quite some time, hence the beard. Between the *shudder* "Pre-beard Years" and now, he’s cultivated a modest but earnest musical offering, on record and through live shows. Heart-soothing melodies - at times fragile and others anthemic - with intensely personal, yet universal stories woven through their fabric. Sam has songs for holding onto; for love, losing, occasionally winning and sparring with that pesky black dog that looms beside us all from time to time…
Sam has played hundreds of gigs and festivals across the South West including high-profile support slots with the likes of Turin Brakes, James Vincent McMorrow and Ward Thomas and has appeared many times on local TV and radio, including sessions for BBC Introducing in The West.
